Mahamrityunjaya Mantra
Mantra for Immortality
This is the 3rd most powerful Mantra used by practitioners for a variety of spiritual, mental, and physical benefits. The transliteration is below:
oṃ tryámbakaṃ yajāmahe sughandhíṃ puṣṭivardhánam
urvārukamiva bandhánān mṛtyor mukṣīya māmṛtāt
Purification Mantra
Recited at the beginning of class
Mantra to purify the air, ground, and psychic channels (nadis). Recited at the beginning of all yoga classes, as taught by Sri Dharma Mittra.
Bija Mantras
Sounds of the Chakras
Bija mantras as the "seed" sounds of the chakras. They are used to stimulate the chakras, and wake up the subtle body. Great for improving voice!
Om Japa
Repetition of Om Mantra
Repetition of Om mantra. This practice is deeply meditative, and helps cultivate intuitive knowledge of the subtle meaning of Om.
